All three versions of the Fengyun T7 are equipped with a Rhino Lithium Iron Phosphate battery with a capacity of 65.05 kWh. The CLTC cycle range is unified at 600 km, with fast charging from 30% to 80% taking approximately 20 minutes.

Regarding power, the new car adopts a front-mounted single motor layout with a maximum power of 178 kW, peak torque of 275 N·m, and a top speed of 180 km/h. The drag coefficient is 0.286 Cd, paired with AGS Active Grille Shutter and 14 low wind resistance design features, with official energy consumption of 12.9 kWh/100 km. The chassis uses front MacPherson and rear multi-link independent suspension, with front and rear axle load ratio 50.8:49.2.

600km Comfort Edition: Compared to the entry-level, it adds panoramic sunroof with electric sunshade, electric tailgate, front seat heating/ventilation, 50W wireless phone charging, 540° surround view, and BSD blind spot monitoring, etc., comfort and safety configurations.

600km Intelligent Edition: Equipped with Falcon 500 driving assistance system (Qualcomm 8775 Integrated Cockpit-Driving Chip and 22 sensors), supporting Highway NOA Piloting, 300+ scenario auto parking, cross-floor memory parking, and trail reversing functions.

Fengyun T7 is designed according to the 2026 version E-NCAP Five-Star Safety Standard. The body uses 80% high-strength steel and 18.84% hot-formed steel, equipped with 9 airbags, including 48L dual-chamber far-side airbags and 1778 mm one-piece side curtain airbags. The battery pack uses a 31-layer protection structure. Officially claimed to pass IP68 waterproofing, 200 kN side squeeze resistance, and other tests, waterproofing and squeeze resistance indicators are higher than national standard requirements.

Chery side stated that the new car is developed based on the global 1+7+N R&D system. The homologous overseas model Lepas L6 has launched previously in markets such as South Africa and Thailand. The whole vehicle has completed 1.45 million km durability verification, covering 21 countries and 100+ extreme road conditions.

Market Positioning and Version Recommendations

The Fengyun T7 is positioned in the 100,000 class pure electric compact SUV segment, which has fierce competition. Models such as Changan Qiyuan Q05, BYD Yuan PLUS, and Leapmotor B10 have occupied certain market shares. The new car enters competition with full-series 600 km range and starting price of 94,900 RMB, featuring body safety configurations and global verification standards. However, the 2700 mm wheelbase is at a middle level among the same class, and high-end smart driving hardware such as LiDAR is not equipped.

Regarding version selection, users with limited budget and home charging conditions, the entry Enjoyment Edition can meet daily commuting needs; the Comfort Edition added comfort configurations are more suitable for family users; users who frequently drive on highways or value smart driving experience, the Intelligent Edition's Highway NOA and auto parking functions have certain practical value.
