August 26, Chery Fengyun T7 officially launched, with three versions launched in total, official guide price range from 97,900 RMB to 118,900 RMB, starting price after trade-in incentives is 94,900 RMB. New car positioned as pure EV SUV, with global R&D and multi-regional market verification as background, forming configuration strategy in range, safety, smart configuration, etc., targeting the 100,000-RMB pure EV market.
Fengyun T7 all series equipped with 65.05kWh battery pack, CLTC rated range 600km, official revealed actual test range data is 681.6km. Fast charging aspect, 30% to 80% charging time approx 20 minutes, battery cycle life over 2500 times. Power system uses 12-in-1 e-drive unit, motor peak power 178kW, max torque 275N·m, top speed 180km/h, e-drive comprehensive efficiency 90.8%. All series standard AGS intelligent front grille and dual-source wide-temperature range heat pump AC, combined with high voltage PTC heating, can operate stably within -30°C to 55°C temperature range, official claims low temperature environment range attenuation is suppressed, at -10°C range can improve 15%-20%.
Body size aspect, Fengyun T7 length width height respectively 4570mm, 1852mm, 1694mm, wheelbase 2700mm, official interior space utilization rate 84%. Trunk standard capacity 450L, below has 19L privacy compartment and 99L underfloor storage space, rear seats folded can expand to 1550L, and form approx 1955mm×1310mm pure flat floor. Cockpit interior provides 38 storage spaces, front row has umbrella slot and 50W phone wireless charging. Seats use 9-layer composite structure, with three-stage heating and ventilation functions, heating area 0.2㎡, official claims can heat from -20°C to 30°C within 5 minutes.
Interior design aspect, Fengyun T7 uses Cloud Wing Enclosed Cockpit design, center console lines extend to side door panels. Speaker shape uses pebble-style suspended design, wrapped with fabric. Interior provides Black-Brown and Extreme Night Black two color schemes. Exterior provides six car colors, among which Blaze Orange uses Tri-coat three-layer process. Intelligence aspect, Fengyun T7 equipped with 15.6-inch 2.5K center screen, equipped with 8775 Cockpit-Drive integrated chip, using 4nm process, NPU computing power 72TOPS, system response latency approx 80ms. Vehicle system integrates Lingxi Smart Cockpit 2.0 and Doubao Large Model, supports all-scenario voice interaction, and provides Nap, Wake-up, Sentry, Baby etc. six scenario modes. Phone connectivity supports CarPlay, HiCar and CarLink wireless connection, covering market mainstream models. Intelligent driving system equipped with 3 mmWave radars, 7 cameras and 12 ultrasonic radars, supports Highway Pilot Assist (predict lane change and on-ramp merging 500m in advance) and automatic parking for over 300 scenarios, including remote parking entry, vehicle exit parking, multi-floor parking and 100m trajectory reversal.
Safety structure aspect, Fengyun T7 uses 9-horizontal 5-vertical cage body, high-strength steel ratio 80%, among which hot-formed steel ratio 18.84%. Class-unique Shotgun structure and dual-frame subframe combined with Pack crash beam, aimed at improving collision energy dispersion ability. Side doors use 1088mm through-type roll-formed threshold reinforcement beam. Airbag configuration is 9, including front, side row, rear side airbags, side curtains and 48L far-end airbags. Battery protection uses 6D Lock Armor structure, 31 layers protection, IP68 waterproof grade reaches national standard 96 times, side anti-squeeze is 2 times national standard, and passed 1008 hours salt spray test and 105-second fire test. Chassis aspect equipped with 4-wheel independent suspension, axle load ratio 50.8:49.2, bushing diameter 70mm, front stabilizer bar diameter 26mm, Moose test result 80km/h, wading depth 500mm.
Fengyun T7 in development stage referred to 2026 version E-NCAP 5-star safety standard, and conducted durability verification covering high temperature, high cold, high humidity, high salinity etc. multiple extreme environments. Official data shows, this car invested 81 durability test vehicles, whole vehicle cumulative test mileage over 6 million km, durability special actual test 1.45 million km, covering EU, Aus/NZ, Middle East, South Africa, Brazil etc. 100+ road condition environments, including Brazil high bump, Mexico cobblestone road, Germany highway high-curvature curves, South Africa unpaved muddy road etc. typical road sections. Its homologous models already launched in South Africa, Thailand etc., subsequent plan to enter EU, Aus/NZ, UK, Israel etc. markets. Official stated, this car from R&D to verification all based on global multi-regional vehicle usage needs synchronized promotion, not domestic model later adaptation modification.
Launch event site also started "Happiness Co-creation Plan", inviting users to participate in daily vehicle usage scenario sharing. Fengyun T7 has already started delivery, first batch owners include some foreign users in China. From product setting and market strategy aspect, Fengyun T7 attempts to use global verification background and relatively concentrated configuration distribution, to form differentiated competition in 100,000-RMB pure EV SUV segment.
