On August 12, the global quality pure electric SUV Fengyun T7 officially started pre-sale, launching 3 models, with a pre-sale guide price ranging from 109,900 yuan to 129,900 yuan.
According to reports, Fengyun T7 does not adopt a product strategy pursuing rapid iteration, but emphasizes a long-term automotive manufacturing philosophy. From global standard R&D and design to full vehicle validation, the new car is tested against climates, roads, and usage environments of different regions, covering multiple working conditions such as the rainy season in Southeast Asia, high-temperature exposure in the Middle East, and high humidity in Indonesia. Documents show that Fengyun T7 underwent 2 years of planning and 3 years of R&D, with 81 units of dedicated durability cars deployed for simultaneous road testing. The total cumulative test mileage of the vehicle exceeded 6 million kilometers, and the durability special test reached 1.45 million kilometers.
In terms of exterior design, Fengyun T7 relies on Chery's 10 global design centers, with over 5,000 domestic and international users participating in co-creation. The new car adopts design elements of "Wind-Control Front Face, Wind-Shaped Silk Body, Horizon Sunset Tailgate", blending international minimalist aesthetics with elegant Eastern charm. The paint standard synchronizes with overseas weather resistance requirements, providing 6 body colors: Blaze Orange, Mountain Smoke Purple, Cloud Pink Beige, Flowing Light Silver, Green Bamboo Grey, and Ink Stone Black. The interior offers two styles: Warm Black Brown and Polar Night Obsidian, adopting a Cloud Wing Enclosed Cockpit design. Extensive soft wrapping combined with details like pebble floating speakers and diamond quilting emphasizes cockpit texture and durability performance.
In terms of safety, Fengyun T7 is designed according to the 2026 version E-NCAP five-star safety standard and meets the highest functional safety ASIL D level. The body uses 80% high-strength steel and 18.84% hot-formed steel to build a nine-transverse five-longitudinal cage body, adopts shotgun structure, double-frame subframe and Pack anti-collision beam, setting multiple collision force transmission paths to disperse collision energy and protect the passenger compartment. The new car is equipped with 9 airbags, including 48L dual-chamber remote airbags and rear side airbags.
Power battery safety is also a key area reinforced for Fengyun T7. All models of the new car are equipped with Rhino Battery, building a multi-layer safety barrier through 6D protection to cope with risks such as extrusion, puncture, and impact. For rainy season wading scenarios, the official states that the Rhino Battery reaches IP68 waterproof rating, and has undergone real vehicle verification for multiple global climates and road environments to provide further guarantees for power battery safety.
Regarding range and recharging, Fengyun T7 focuses on "600 km range equity for all models". All models of the new car are equipped with 65.05kWh Rhino Battery, with CLTC range reaching 600 km. Documents show actual tested range reaching over 667 km. Regarding recharging, the vehicle charges from 30% to 80% in just 20 minutes, further meeting daily commuting and medium-to-long distance travel needs. Meanwhile, the new car is equipped with an all-domain integrated thermal management system, adopting dual-source wide-range heat pump air conditioning and high-voltage PTC. The official claims it can cover stable operation in a wide temperature range from minus 30 degrees Celsius to 55 degrees Celsius.
In terms of intelligence, Fengyun T7 is equipped with an integrated cabin-driving 8775 chip, adopting a 4nm process with 72 TOPS computing power, response time of only 80ms, achieving a 33% increase in boot speed. The smart cockpit is equipped with a 15.6-inch 2.5K HD large screen, supporting CarPlay, HUAWEI HiCar, and CarLink wireless connection. Lingxi Smart Cockpit 2.0 provides various human-like companionship experiences and sets scene modes such as rest, camping, pet, and wake-up, enabling the vehicle to cover more daily usage scenarios.
In terms of driving assistance, Fengyun T7 is equipped with the Falcon 500 driving assistance system, equipped with 3 millimeter-wave radars, 7 high-performance cameras and 12 ultrasonic radars, totaling 22 high-precision sensors. The vehicle supports 300+ full-scenario auto parking and can achieve dead-end road parking, one-key trail reversing, cross-floor parking and other functions, further expanding the usage scenarios of intelligent parking.
In terms of space and comfort, Fengyun T7 body dimensions are 4570×1852×1694 mm, wheelbase 2700 mm, interior usage rate reaches 84%, rear row adopts pure flat floor, and provides 911 mm legroom. With rear seats folded down, it can be expanded to 1955 mm pure flat space, trunk conventional volume 450 liters, expanded to 1550 liters, able to meet loading needs for scenarios such as outdoor crossing and multi-person travel.
In terms of seats, the new car is equipped with 9-layer cloud-feel seats, supporting ventilation and heating functions, heating provides 3-gear temperature control adjustment; in addition, the whole vehicle is equipped with 38 storage spaces, and rivets and hooks are equipped for securing camping equipment and large items. In terms of chassis, Fengyun T7 is tuned by an international chassis team and adopts a 50.8:49.2 golden axle load ratio to improve vehicle cornering stability and straight-line driving tracking.
