On August 12, Fengyun T7 officially started pre-sales. The new car is positioned as a global quality pure electric SUV, launching 3 versions with a pre-sale guide price of 109,900 - 129,900 yuan, accompanied by 7 purchase benefits. The press conference was themed "Slow work builds a good car, sorry for the wait", conveying the long-termist car-making philosophy of rejecting shortcuts and refining to global standards.
Relying on Chery's 23 years of global technology accumulation, Fengyun T7 followed a "reverse overseas expansion" trial path: the same-source model Lepas L6 once appeared at the Milan Design Week. The whole vehicle went through 2 years of planning, 3 years of R&D, 81 exclusive durability cars accumulated over 6 million km of testing, and completed extreme validation in regions such as Southeast Asian rainy season, Middle East high temperature, and Indonesia high humidity. Now tempered and returned, it focuses on Chinese families.
In terms of design, the wind-tuning front fascia, wind-sculpted satin body, and sky glow tailgate fuse international minimalism with Eastern charm, offering 6 car colors including Blaze Orange; the interior adopts a Cloud Wing wrap-around cockpit, leather and plastic parts are built according to overseas weather resistance standards, staying new even after long-term use.
Safety is a major highlight of Fengyun T7: the whole vehicle benchmarks the 2026 E-NCAP five stars and ASIL D functional safety highest level. The body uses 80% high-strength steel and 18.84% hot-formed steel to form a nine-horizontal five-vertical cage structure, equipped with 9 airbags; the Rhinoceros battery has 6D protection, IP68 waterproof performance reaches 96 times the national standard, fearless of heavy rain wading.

In intelligence, the cockpit-driving integrated 8775 chip adopts 4nm process, 72TOPS computing power, paired with a 15.6-inch 2.5K large screen and Lingxi Smart Cockpit 2.0; the Falcon 500 driving assistance system is equipped with 22 sensors, supporting 300+ all-scenario automatic parking, covering difficult parking spots such as dead-end roads and multi-floor parking.
Regarding space, the 4570mm vehicle length, 2700mm wheelbase brings 84% space utilization rate, rear legroom 911mm, rear seats folded can expand to 1955mm flat large bed, trunk 450L-1550L; the chassis is polished by a team led by former Maserati tuning experts, weight distribution ratio 50.8:49.2.
