Mazda CX-30 本質上就係升高咗嘅 Mazda 3 Crossover 版本，兩者共用同一款車架底盤。CX-30嘅車身長度、軸距同闊度都比 Mazda 3 揭背版細小小，定位啱啱好攝喺 CX-3 同 CX-5 之間。
