The GAC E9 PHEV uses a 2.0-litre turbocharged inline-four petrol engine paired with a front-mounted permanent-magnet synchronous motor. The engine produces 140 kW (190 PS) and 330 Nm, while the single electric motor delivers 134 kW and 300 Nm. Power goes to the front wheels through a 2-speed hybrid-specific DHT transmission.
