Use 92 RON petrol for the Seal 06 PHEV 1.5L 80 km FWD. As a plug-in hybrid, both its petrol engine and electric system need attention: check engine oil, coolant, brake fluid, tyres and the charging cable or port regularly. Avoid leaving the 10.08 kWh LFP battery at a very low state of charge for extended periods, and inspect the charging connector for moisture, dirt or damage before plugging in. Even if most daily trips are electric, run the petrol engine periodically and avoid keeping old fuel in the 65-litre tank for too long. Regenerative braking may reduce use of the friction brakes, so the brake discs and pads should still be inspected for rust or uneven wear. Service intervals and specified fluids should follow the latest BYD manual or dealer guidance.
