The Nissan Note e-POWER features the second-generation e-POWER system, where the petrol engine acts solely as a generator to charge the battery and does not directly drive the wheels. The wheels are driven 100% by the electric motor. This provides instant acceleration like an electric vehicle, but without the need for external charging – just fill up with petrol like a conventional car.
