The Ferrari Daytona SP3 is designed as a tribute to the 330 P3/4 race car that won the 24 Hours of Daytona in 1967, while also incorporating design elements from other classic racers such as the 330 P4, 350 Can-Am, and 512 S. The Ferrari Daytona SP3's butterfly doors, louvred engine cover, and mid-mounted V12 layout all pay homage to Ferrari's prototype racers of the 1960s.
